Day1. Arrival Cochin Evening KATHKALI dance performance.
Day2. Cochin sight seeing Visit the famous St.Francis church, and the Chinese fishing nets in the fort Cochin area, which used to be the center of activitiesfor all European powers in the early years of
colonization. Also visit the Dutch palace, Jewish synagogue and the Jewish Street in the Mattanchery area, which was the spice auction center. Enjoy your lunch and shopping afternoon.
Day3. Cochin-Munnar: Munnar is a hill station 1800 meters above the sea level and used to be the summer resort of the British rulers in the yester years. Surrounded by the lush green tea carpets, it is an ideal location for trekking, cycling, mountaineering, and photography. Ervikulam National Park to spot the Nilgiri Thar (Endangered Mountain Goat), Mattuppaetty Dam and Local markets are the possible options here to engage your time. The biggest attraction of this area happens once in every twelve years, and it is the flowering of a shrub called “NEELAKURINJI.
 
Day4. Munnar-MaduraiProceed for Madurai temple city, could be the oldest city in the south which is the cradle of the Dravidian civilization the south of India. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Evening witness the Night ceremonies of the famous Meenakshi temple.

Madurai Sight Seeing Visit Meenakshi temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum and Flower market.Afternoon shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Day6. Madurai –Periyar Enjoy the village scenes and reach Periyar for lunch. Periyar is on the western Ghat Mountains and is 1500 meters above the sea level and is the eastern border of the state. It is a protected forest with very rich and diversified flora and fauna. Though it is called a tiger reserve here you mostly witness elephants and a tiger is only a matter of luck .Evening boating on the lake sanctuary. It is possible to see wild life from the safety of the boat and over night stay at Hotel
Day7. Periyar-activitiesSpice plantation visit, elephant ride in a plantation, Spice Shopping and Tribal village visit. Overnight at the hotel.
Day8. Periyar to Kumarakam (120km, 4hrs)Breakfast and proceed to Kumarakam.Enroute Drop in at a tea factory on the way down to gather some idea about tea making and it is really interesting to look at the old English machineries Kumarakam is a paddy village on the banks of the backwaters where one can experience the slow pace of the life. It used to be a British residential Place and has a nice bird sanctuary too.Overnight at Kumarakam Hotel.
Day9. House BoatEnjoy the Sights of Aleppey Back waters. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, where you can experience the slow paced village activities, the lush green flora and the mouthwatering Cuisine.
Day10. Alleppy-Trivandrum Disembark and proceed for
 
Trivandrum the capital city in the south of the state. Arrival and check in at at seaside resort.
Day11. Trivandrum sight seeing The landmark of the city is SREE PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE around which the city has been built on seven low hills (just like ROME) of western Ghat Mountains. Small but this city is full of history and culture with its royal mansions and British architecture. In this tour visit the Horse palace museum, Government museum (Napier museum, the famous chalai Bazaar, and the temple from outside (Inside is restricted only for Hindus)
